Hinchingbrooke Hospital Volunteers Week

Hinchingbrooke Hospital Volunteers Week

We were pleased to take part in Volunteers Week at Hinchingbrooke Hospital during the fist week in June.  A display of Booklets and Leaflets about Diabetes was assembled in the Main Entrance Hall of the Hospital which was manned by volunteers from our Group on each of the five days.  We were delighted to have the chance to provide clear information to a number of Hospital Visitors and Patients.  We were also visited by some of the Diabetic Specialist Nurses who work at Hinchingbrooke.  On the Friday, local MP Jonathan Djanogly stopped to say hello on his way to open the new Critical Care Unit at the Hospital.  The photo shows Joan Davies, Wife of our Chairman Martin and one of our enthusiastic team of Volunteers.
